How Mindset works...
Mindset is designed to be embedded in classroom curriculum and practice, not as a stand alone enrichment project. It is a resource to be incorporated with the many other strategies which support quality mathematics teaching and learning.
Who can use the program?
Mindset is designed for students to work at their own pace and ability level. Many of the learning activities were designed with the needs of gifted/high ability students in mind to provide ready access to above grade level concepts and curriculum, although all students are eligible to utilise the site, as directed by their class teacher.
What level should students be on?
Students should be working on tasks at the stage they are in regardless of school grade. Teachers need to collect data about their students' mathematical knowedge and skills and use it to make curriculum based decisions for them across different content areas.
